Starting a Day Care - Where To advertise your New Daycare Center

So you've decided to start a nursery. Congratulations. Women across the country are becoming financially independent and make a great income by starting nurseries. If done correctly, a daycare can become a very lucrative business. It can also be very funny.

But a nursery, as any business, needs customers. And to get these customers you need to advertise your business. But how and where to advertise?

Most parents choose a daycare center which is located near their home. No one wants to commute too much to take the baby to the nursery before going to work. This means that you should not advertise too far from home, but you do need to choose the right spots in which to advertise.

A great way to advertise your daycare in the beginning is with flyers. Print a few hundred flyers with a simple message, containing the name of your nursery, your name, address and telephone number. This is not the time to be timid. Anyone who reads the flyer needs to know where your nest is to see if it's close to where they live. They need your phone number in order to get in touch with you. Do not worry, a few hundred flyers cost very little and can be very effective when placed in the right places.

You want your flyers to be where parents go. Here are some great places to place your flyers:

1. Outside the local supermarket. Parents and especially mothers, to go shopping, to visit the supermarket at least once a week. Place the wheel on a bulletin board near the entrance is a must.

2. Many parents go to the gym, so place a flyer near the gym.

3. Place some flyers close to schools. Children who go to school often have small brothers and sisters. Parents often drop their older kids to school. Some do it on a daily basis. Your flyers need to be there.

4. The same thing applies to activities outside of school. For example, if there is a bit 'of league baseball field close to your neighborhood, place some of your flyers near the nest entrance. Parents go to cheer their children and they will see your flyers. The same things go for any activities outside the school in your area.

If you place flyers that advertise the new day center in these places and others like them, you get new customers and will make a great income from your business kindergarten. A warning though: do not litter as it will make people angry with you. Put your flyers on bulletin boards or ask permission .......
