The Tyrolean capital is a city in western Austria, is surrounded by mountains and is famous for its sports activities. His skiing and snowboarding are among the world's most popular, why this city was home to two Winter Olympic Games in 1964 and 1976.
The most favorable season to visit the city are the spring and summer, yet their temperatures are quite cool. It is an ideal destination to relax and stay in touch with nature.
Innsbruck is also a place where you can enjoy many activities. We recommend some of the most important tourist destinations in the city. Among them: The Golden Roof, the former Hofburg Imperial Palace, Ambras Castle, the tower Ottoburg, the Basilica Wilten or Inglesia of the Court.
From any corner of this wonderful city can appreciate the splendid grandeur of the Alps. With a long history, Innsbruck has survived the test of time and earned an atmosphere that blends the ancient architecture of the site with more modern buildings and areas.
The gastronomic offer is very wide from traditional food, international cuisine, fish, pastas, pizzas, etc.. We also find many bars, pubs and cafes.
Do not think that Innsbruck is only a quiet, almost a quarter of its population are university students, so the nightlife is very variada.Sin doubt, is a city that offers all types of tourism, it does pack your bags and flying. To read more from this visit quehoteles travel blog
