Photo Of The Day: 01/05/2011 "reflection De Luna"

She was a warm summer night. The suffering of the disease, tormented his last months. But that night she won, because it got to rest, forever. The shortness of breath, filled his lungs last. Then his eyes were fixed, crystallized by the second. Looking for the last time. His face was calm, serene. His hands were still just as soft, delicate, beautiful. But cold, very cold. Later, a parade of people who uttered empty words. There was a man in a suit, who taught us a catalog of caskets. Two nurses, who performed each step of the process, with routine professionalism. Then ... nothing, the silence at night. The empty bed. The broken soul. We went outside. The city was calm. It seemed to mourn for our pain. Only the moon, reflected in the tears rolling down our cheeks, and flowing into the ocean of sorrow. That night, he seemed to have stopped time. The first rays of dawn, we were surprised Dambulla through the streets of the city. The roar began to take over the walks and avenues. Again jams, people rush to get to work, crowded traffic lights, pushing to pass the first. We realized that we had left the moon and that his grief lasted, so it lasts the night.

The world continues its march against the clock. That only we were standing, crying, invisible to the eyes of the crowd. That morning I realized that only in our hearts forever remain alive because the world had awakened in a new dawn, without it. Today is Mother's Day and I miss her more than ever. But in a different way. Because today is the day of the madre.La Picture of the day, is, in this May 1, 2011, dedicated to all mothers. Any time is soon when a mother closes her eyes.
