The Sewage To Pools
The pool water treatment plants, along with maintaining water chemistry, are a key element to ensure good water quality of the pool from the point of view of safety and hygiene. The pool water treatment plants basically consist of two components, the pump and filter, and its main function to filter the water retaining suspended matter, although some models perform additional functions such as automatic dosing of chemicals or water softening.
Water quality in the pool
When filling the pool at the beginning of the season the water is crystal clear, but quickly becomes polluted and turbid by exposure to sun and dust, dirt, leaves and microorganisms that enter the air, rain and bathers. To combat this problem using two systems:
Purification system, pool water treatment plants through the filter and pump, hold the water suspended matter. Maintenance of water: chemicals used as chlorine, algaecide, flocculant and pH correction.
The pool purification
The pool water treatment plants are set at a level of 0.50 m below the surface of the pool water at a distance not exceeding 15 m. Basically pool purifiers consist of two components:
Pump: its function is to circulate the water. Sucks the water through drains and skimmers, suction mouth located on the walls of the pool near the surface. After filtration, the water is returned to the pool through glass nozzles. Filter: generally contains silica sand, through which passed the pool water, so it retains the suspended matter. Periodically the filter must be cleaned by backwashing, reversing the direction of flow of water, and expelling the dirt down the drain, because otherwise the dirt will clog the sand blocking the flow of water.
Features swimming pool water treatment plants
Some purification pool as well as conventional filtering function of the water, perform additional functions such as:
Automatic dosage of chemicals: some allow metering pool purification products used in chemical water maintenance. Water softening: the sewage pool equipped with water softener avoiding the negative effects of lime water in the pool walls, siding, stairs and filters.
Cleaning accessories that complement the pool purification
To clean the pool used various accessories that complement the task of pool water treatment plants:
Manual cleaning utensils: used pallets collects leaves and brush, large bristle strong enough to take off the impurities from the walls and bottom. Cleaners: These are robots that clean the bottom and sometimes the walls of the pool and can be manual or automatic.
